A Bit About Me :
A friendly introvert who takes some time to warm up and know someone.
I strive to be Professional, Ethical and Credible by keeping up to date with knowledge, being truthful and honest for my clients; but most importantly, by fulfilling my duty of always acting in the best interest of my clients;
To be answerable to myself and my clients, building trust with my clients and to give them and their family a peace of mind.
HOW MY JOURNEY BEGIN :
Aug 2013 - Aug 2015
I first came in touch with this industry while I was serving National Service (NS) and met my current manager as my friend had referred me to him. With no intention to take up insurance at that time, I decided to ask about his job. After a couple rounds of meeting, I decide to join as an undergrad Financial Consultant (FC), whilst concurrently pursuing my Bachelor's Degree.
Aug 2012 - Aug 2013
MY UNDERGRAD JOURNEY :
After completing NS in 2013, I went on to pursue my Accountancy Bachelor's Degree whilst starting my part time career as an undergrad FC. With ample time on hand, I worked 4 days a week and started off with prospecting. It was also during these 2 years that I saw the value of my work, handled hospital bill claims, and realized how much people actually benefitted from Insurance policies. That gave me the resolution to work full time as a FC after I completed my studies.
Aug 2015 - Now
MY FC JOURNEY :
Having accumulated experience in my first 2 years as an undergrad FC, I embarked on my journey and began to build my career. It was tough initially as I dived fully into cold-market prospecting, reaching out to strangers and trying to convert them into clients.
There were times that giving up surfaced, but that very same thought kept me going; "What will happen to my clients and their claims?"
Having been in the industry for years, the very reason that kept me going was my clients' trust in me. They are the reason I fought on year after year, going from a mere FC, to attaining my promotion to Senior Financial Consultant, and achieving various company awards such as Quality Club, Quality Club Elite and Star Club.
I have no one else but my clients to thank!
